Lambda ratio is used in joint surface studies . It is used to assess fluid film thickness inside native or replaced joint.

T1 Rho (T one rho or T1ρ) is radiological investigation (MRI based) for articular cartilage assessment also called T1 mapping. Other modalities of cartilage imaging are sodium MRI, delayed gadolinium enhanced MRI of cartilage (dGEMRIC).

Delta is related to delta phalynx, an anomaly of phalanx in which the phalanx shapes like trapezoid or triangle. It is also called longitudinally bracketed epiphysis (LEB). Thumb and little fingers are affected most.
