Coracoid is taken from Greek raven bird (' like beak of raven).

Anserine bursa is after pes anserine ( goose feet) as per the three muscles attach around it semitenfinosis, gracilis and sartorius.

Malleolus on the other hand is related to term ' small hammer'.
